Guarantee of Access

The Right-To-Know Law guarantees the right of residents to access, view, and obtain copies of public records in the possession of state and local government agencies. The Law defines a “record” as “information, regardless of physical form, that documents a transaction or activity of an agency and that is created, received or retained pursuant to law or in connection with a transaction, business, or activity of the agency.”
